Dr. Steve Nam was raised in Canton, Ohio. He is a graduate of Canton Central Catholic High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. He completed his training at the State University of New York Downstate and Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and returned to his hometown in 2010 to join his father’s service in primary care.
April Towner MSN, APRN-CNP, AGACNP-BC is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner with more than 25 years of experience in the acute care setting. She has an extensive background in critical care, emergency, trauma, and inpatient medicine, where she has expertise in diagnosing complex medical conditions and developing individualized treatment plans.
April was raised and has been a resident of Holmes County for more than 40 years. She is a West Holmes High school graduate and began her nursing career in the early 2000s as a registered nurse after graduating from North Central State College; she then later earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kent State University. Eventually, she further advanced her degree by completing a Master of Science in Nursing at the same institution.
She is board certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center, highlighting her commitment to excellence in the field.
April is excited for the unique opportunity to provide primary care to the adult and geriatric population in her home community. She believes in an integrated approach supported by evidence-based practice tailored to the individual needs and values of each unique
patient.
